Lonely Planet Writer fabricated Travel Guide Information

Thomas Kohnstamm wrote in his Biography that he dealt with drugs and also plagiarized content for the travel guides.

In his book, "Do Travel Writers Go To Hell?" Thomas has revealed that in many cases he fabricated the travel information and never actually visited the destination about which he was guiding the readers.

Thomas even sold drugs to cover his expenses. He pointed out that the wages were low for him to sustain his expenditure.

However, Lonely Planet has confirmed that the content of their guides is accurate and claims of Thomas are fake.
